On September, 2002, the Northport-East Northport Public Library commemorated September 11, 2001 through a community art exhibition entitled Reflection & Remembrance. Northport artist Ed Hall painted "The Towers" to be part of the Reflection & Remembrance exhibit. Following the exhibit, Mr. Hall donated the work to the Library for its permanent collection. "The Towers" hangs on the wall outside of the Northport Library's Community Room.
