This talk looks at the wave of liberation that swept across Nazi-Controlled Europe in 1945, focusing on the liberation experience of survivors, the establishment of Displaced Persons camps, and how Jews were able to restart their lives in the wake of the Holocaust. Thorin Tritter, Ph.D, Museum and Programming Director of the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County will be presenting. Registration is underway.
