A fundraising event for the Friends of the Northport-East Northport Public Library.

The elegance of an afternoon tea and the celebration of autumn come together deliciously in this program featuring hostess Margaret Johnson. An author of thirteen cookbooks, Ms. Johnson will present a formal teatime menu that includes sandwiches, savories, scones, tea bread, and decadent sweets. Along with tea, a sparkling, nonalcoholic beverage will be served. Ms. Johnson's cookbooks will be available for purchase and signing. Come meet the members of the Friends of the Library and learn about ways in which the Friends help support the mission of the Northport-East Northport Public Library. Registration begins September 5. (Northport-East Northport Public Library cardholders only for the first week of registration.) A fee of $25.00 (cash or check made payable to "The Friends of the Library") is due at the time of registration. NENA638.  For a festive touch, patrons must bring their favorite teacup and saucer. Each attendee will receive a special favor to take home.
