Artist, professor, and lecturer Thomas Germano will explore Earth Art, the largely American and British are movement that uses the natural landscape to create site-specific structures, art forms, and sculptures. While the roots of Earth Art-also known as land art, environmental art, or Earthworks-can be traced back to antiquity, there was a return to the medium in the late 1960s when a greater consciousness to preserve the Earth gained momentum. Registration and a currents email address are required to receive Zoom log in. Log in information will be emailed to registrants before the start of the program. Registration is underway.
