Many people know the story of how President Lincoln was shot in 1865 by John Wilkes Booth at Ford's Theatre in Washington, D.C. Librarian and history buff Jim Ward will explore the aftermath: Booth's escape and the U.S. government's massive manhunt that took place from the swamps of Maryland to the farms of Virginia. Registration is underway. This program is cosponsored with the public libraries in the Town of Huntington.
