When the New York City subway system first opened in 1904, it was meant to be an inviting public space with beautiful ornamentation. Travel lecturer Shelia Taub will describe how MTA Arts & Design is transforming subway stations to once again be places of beauty. View some of the impressive recent art installations and understand their connections to the neighborhoods above. Registration is underway.
