Celebrate the first day of winter with Renato Stafford from Homegrown Organic Food Inc. He will explain how your can enjoy fresh vegetables and salads right through the winter months by extending the growing season of your garden. Topics will include: the importance of the soil and compost, cold hardy vegetables, zero energy greenhouse designs, harvesting practices, and time saving techniques. Registration is underway.
