Would you like a low maintenance garden that looks good year-round and helps prevent water pollution? Rain gardens are shallow depressions designed to soak up water and support trees, shrubs, and flowers that tolerate wet and dry conditions. A master gardener from Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County will suggest the best plants for your rain garden. Registration is underway. This program is cosponsored with the public libraries in the Town of Huntington.
